varietal and is named after that grape.
Typically, for a wine to to carry the
varietal's name, a wine must be produced out
of no less than 75 percent of that certain
variety of grapes.

In the spirit of Independence Day, with pride in
America, please take a moment in thanks to the brave
men and women in the military. May we uphold freedom
and find world peace.
And now, it's time to
sizzle with the grill. P air our Syrah with marinade filets! This is
one of our very favorites and has become popular
with all who have had it at our home.
Our Fabulous Filet Marinade
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic minced
1 teaspoon
Herbes de Provence
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Marinade
filets for at least three hours (also great with
tri-tip). Then, grill slowly and indirectly,
brushing with marinade sauce while cooking. Pair
with the rich and spicy Syrah black plum flavors
to compliment the intense flavor of the
filet.
